Privacy Policy

eSIMzee ("we", "us", "our") operates esimzee.com, an independent eSIM plan comparison service. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and how it's handled. We collect as little as we can get away with — there are no user accounts on eSIMzee, and browsing, searching, and comparing plans requires no personal information at all.

Information we collect

  • Reviews. If you submit a provider review, we store your rating, review text, and — only if you choose to provide one — a one-way hash of your email address, used solely to prevent duplicate spam submissions. We never store or display your raw email address publicly.
  • Contact form. If you message us via the Contact page, we store your name, email address, and message so we can reply to you.
  • Currency & language preference. Your selected display currency is stored in your browser's local storage, not on our servers, so we can remember it on your next visit.
  • Usage data. Like most websites, our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs standard technical data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps — for security, rate-limiting, and diagnosing outages.

How we use it

We use the information above only to: operate and secure the site, respond to messages you send us, moderate and display reviews, prevent spam and abuse, and understand aggregate traffic patterns so we can improve the site. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

Third-party services

  • Cloudflare Turnstile protects our forms from bots and spam.
  • Google Translate provides optional on-page translation; if used, page content is sent to Google for translation per Google's own privacy policy.
  • Provider links. When you click through to buy a plan, you leave eSIMzee and are subject to that provider's own privacy policy. We are not responsible for how third-party providers handle your data.

Cookies & local storage

We use minimal local storage to remember your currency preference and, for admin users only, an authentication session. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can request a copy of, or ask us to delete, any personal information we hold about you (such as a submitted review or contact message) by emailing us at privacy@esimzee.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
